Description: Vimentin is 57 kDa intermediate filament proteins in mesenchymal cells. It is attached to the nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum and mitochondria either laterally or terminally. Vimentin is important in the differential diagnosis of undifferentiated neoplasm.
Buffer: Total immunoglobulin purified on Protein A column in10 mM PO4, 200 mM NaCl, pH 7.4, 1% BSA, 0.05% sodium azide.

Application: Immunohistochemistry (IHC) 1:50-1:100 using polymer system or streptavidin-biotin system. Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections and cell smears do not require antigen retrieval.
